When it comes to recruiting, parents have a hard time understanding what their role should be. More often than not they get it wrong. They are either way too proactive/overbearing or they are way too passive and silent. The key is to be somewhere in the middle. Parents have to reach out to coaches to get their kids noticed but they can’t be too persistent or demanding. It’s a fine line.
