Lawrence Frank is the former Head Coach of the New Jersey Nets. I bring him up because he had a philosophy about players taking bad shots that I absolutely love. He once said that if one of his players takes a bad shot it’s their way of telling him that they did no not trust their teammates. If you force up bad shots while you have an open teammate you’re telling your team that you are more important than them.
