How
it Works
The ShotMax
"captures" any type of shot taken along the lane and out to the foul
line and quickly returns the ball back to the shooter at the same
place, every time. Coaches and trainers, your endless hours of
rebounding free throws are over.
This simple but
elegant design allows the shooter to multiply the number of shots taken
in a given session.

any reason, its lightweight construction and unique collapsible design

From installation, to use, to take down, to re-location, to storage :
everything about ShotMax is absolutely effortless.
The natural design
of the ShotMax improves accuracy. Simply, the ShotMax operates on the
principle of "positive reinforcement". When a shot is made, the ball
typically returns to the shooter faster - giving the shooter more shots
(and more incentive to make even more shots). The more shots made, the
more shots the shooter is provided in a given time period.
Advantage ShotMax !
The ShotMax enhances 2 key areas of the player's
game: shot form and free throws. Using the standard "shot form
drill", the player can work on their shot form anywhere up and down the
lane at different angles. We like starting the drill right below
the basket and gradually working our way outward toward the foul line
once a certain distance has been mastered.
The second key advantage ShotMax delivers is foul shot
development. Acting as an automatic rebounder, the ShotMax
significantly increases the number of shots taken. Over time,
this increases foul shot "muscle memory", leading to the player's
increased proficiency in making free throws.
The combined effect of improved shot form and free throw ability will
result in a dramatic improvement in the player's overall game. If
there was ever a device that could single-handedly move the player on
to the next level, ShotMax is it.
Helpful Hint:
Training with ShotMax
We
like to hang ShotMax on a particular backboard in the gym and use it as
a dedicated "shooting station". At the beginning of practice,
players can rotate working on their shot form. Toward the end of
practice, when they players are tired, we simulate real-game situation
by having players shoot free throws. Its ability to return the
ball so quickly enables an entire team to take turns using it in a
reasonable amount of time.
