Open Shots on the Perimeter

One of the best shots you can create for good shooters around the perimeter is to work the ball inside and then have a post player kick the ball back outside. In most cases, the defense collapses once the ball goes inside and it leaves perimeter players wide open. Try setting a rule in practice where the only perimeter shots allowed are those coming from passes within the paint. It will teach your kids to get in the habit of looking for the open jumper.
