This past weekend there was a coaching clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada that attracted high school and middle school coaches from all over the country. Like most similar clinics this one ran for a few hours Friday night, all day Saturday, and part of the day on Sunday. To attend this clinic a coach would have had to pay airfare (approximately $300), registration fee ($150), hotel accommodations (approximately another $300 if he stayed at the host hotel), and meals ($100) for a total of $850.
